1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CruxDev (cruxdev.tech, “the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
2. Description of Service & Individual Creator Capacity
CruxDev is an independent open-web developer utility suite, code workshop, and educational repository created, authored, and maintained by Cholaraja R P in an individual developer capacity based in Karnataka, India. The platform provides a browser-based suite of developer tools, code generators, regex testers, cryptography utilities, CSS animation studios, and self-paced educational tracks. The platform operates 100% client-side in the user's browser without requiring user accounts or server-side data processing.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties (“AS IS” & “AS AVAILABLE”)
CruxDev and its developer provide all tools, calculations, formatters, and documentation on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied.
- Accuracy of Output: While tools and their documentation are authored with engineering rigor and tested against standard algorithms, we do not warrant that outputs (e.g., converted data, cryptographic hashes, SQL queries, regex matches, financial calculations, CSS layouts, code snippets) are error-free, complete, or mathematically infallible.
- Continuous Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, defect-free, or zero-downtime access to the platform.
- Fitness for a Particular Purpose: We make no representations or warranties that any tool, calculation, or code pattern is suitable for your specific architectural, regulatory, compliance, or commercial requirements.
- User Duty of Verification: You expressly acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to independently audit, test, compile, and validate any generated code, configuration, or calculation before deploying it in production or business environments.
4. No Professional Advice
CruxDev publishes tool documentation and a prompt library as reference material, not professional advice:
- Reference Material Only: Tool output and documentation are provided for reference. CruxDev offers no courses, certifications, or credentials.
- Not Legal, Financial, or Medical Advice: Calculators covering finance, tax, or health are informational estimates and are not a substitute for a qualified professional.
- Verify Before Production Use: Always confirm generated output - hashes, queries, regular expressions, configuration - against authoritative documentation before relying on it.
- No Fiduciary Relationship: Using CruxDev does not create a professional, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and the developer.
5. AI-Assisted Educational Content for AI Builders
The CruxDev prompt library and code snippets were researched, structured, and synthesized with the assistance of artificial intelligence technologies (LLMs) and curated by the developer specifically for software engineers and AI builders.
- Recommended Third-Party Documentation: For authoritative, canonical, and version-specific specifications, we recommend and link to official third-party documentation (such as official docs for Python, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Linux, and OWASP).
- No Warranty on AI Outputs: Content reflects point-in-time conventions. You must verify API endpoints, syntax, and security practices against the respective official vendor releases.
6. Third-Party Trademarks & External References
All product names, logos, brands, trademarks, and registered trademarks mentioned on CruxDev (e.g., Apple, Google, AWS, Stripe, Cloudflare, Docker, React, Vue, Python, OpenAI, Anthropic) are property of their respective owners. Their mention on CruxDev is solely for fair use, nominative identification, and educational reference. CruxDev is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trademark owner unless expressly stated.
7. Voluntary Developer Tips & Non-Refundable Gratuities (Buy Me a Coffee)
CruxDev is provided free of charge. Users who wish to support the developer's work may make voluntary contributions (“Tip Dev” / “Tip the Developer”):
- Voluntary Gratuity: Tips are strictly voluntary gifts and do not constitute payment for goods, software licenses, paid subscriptions, or commercial service level agreements.
- No Premium Tiers: All 300+ tools and the full prompt library remain 100% free and accessible to all users regardless of whether a tip is given.
- Processed via Buy Me a Coffee: All tip transactions are handled externally by Buy Me a Coffee and its payment processors. CruxDev never touches or stores your payment information.
- Non-Refundable: Because tips are voluntary gratuities to defray hosting and ongoing developer costs, all tips are final and non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Cholaraja R P or CruxDev be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data corruption, system downtime, security breaches, production crashes, or financial losses arising from your use of or inability to use the tools, services, calculations, or course content.
9. User Conduct & Acceptable Use
You agree to use CruxDev only for lawful development, testing, learning, and productivity purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the utilities to develop, distribute, or execute malicious software, ransomware, or unauthorized exploits.
- Attempt to conduct denial-of-service attacks or flood the hosting infrastructure.
- Circumvent or tamper with client-side protections, license terms, or advertising delivery mechanisms.
10. Intellectual Property & User Content
- Your Data: You retain 100% exclusive ownership of all code, texts, tokens, and data you input, transform, or generate with CruxDev tools. We claim zero ownership over your intellectual property.
- Platform Rights: CruxDev branding, logos, custom UI designs, original interface designs, and software components are owned by Cholaraja R P and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
